Hectic deliberations were on between the dealers and the government officials and the oil corporations till late in the evening to resolve the crisis. However, the deliberations had met with little success. He said all the 15 petrol pumps of the corporation in the city had the sufficient stock of the fuel to last till Friday evening. He said the corporation was deploying an additional refil tanker at its Karve Road pump to deal with the increased demand. ``Under the dealership terms and conditions, the dealers are not suppose to stop the supply of petroleum products in this manner. We have appealed to the dealers to call off their agitation," said Rajput. Expressing its solidarity with the Pune Dealers' Association, the Federation of all Maharashtra Petrol Dealers' Association (FAMPEDA) has announced its decision to join the indefinite agitation from January 4 onwards. The association has given a notice of intent to this effect to the Centre as well as the State Government. In the notice, FAMPEDA has strongly protested against the raids Mud Valves conducted by inspecting officials of the oil corporations asked for its halt by January. ``Otherwise the petrol dealers of the State will be compelled to support the ongoing `no purchase campaign' of Pune dealers from January 4'', the association has stated in the notice.
